Aber Auction offer the opportunity to sell your unwanted items to include furniture, paintings, maps, clocks, ceramics, glass, sporting items, militaria, silver, jewellery, garden items, farm machinery, hand crafted products and unwanted end of line stock indeed anything for resale.
There are two ways to go to the international market:
Buy-now option: this platform offers for sale pre- or post-timed auction lots at a buy-it-now price agreed by the vendor. you will be required to register with Aber Auctions including your full name and address to bid. You do this by clicking on the My Account tab and complete the online form.
Timed Auctions offers for sale on the international online auction platform include lots with a guide estimate and a minimum starting bid, selling to the highest bidder at the end of the five-day auction.
On the timed auction, you will be required to register with Aber Auctions, and we may require credit card details to proceed with bidding. All lots will be subject to a 10% buyer commission.
Sell your items.
We do not need to collect your goods, as we can sell them on your instructions using quality images and descriptions. We will agree on a reserve price if required, and on completion of the auction we will agree to collect the sold lots and transport them to a neutral collection point for the buyers to collect. Collection charges are to be agreed upon. All goods offered for sale will be subject to a 10% sales commission. This commission rate can be negotiated for full house clearance or large collections. All charges and commissions are currently NOT subject to VAT.
About a timed auction
In a timed online auction, there is no auctioneer taking bids from a live auction room audience; instead, the lots are offered to the highest bidder who has submitted the highest bid at the end of the time period set for the auction completion, subject to the winning bid exceeding the reserve price if applicable. Payment will be invoiced at the end of the auction by email, you can pay by bank transfer, or cash on collection in some cases by arrangement, contact Admin if you require more details. Please note no goods can be collected or removed until full funds are cleared.
